Do you think my business could succeed?

hi think you're still young and the fact that you give yourself the means to succeed with all those courses is a great thing. having a shop on etsy is a good idea, because it will give you an idea of the kind of consumers you will get, and a clear idea of the market. because what youre selling is very specific, i would suggest opening to for worldwide delivery so as to maximise your market. don't invest too much into it at first, but get an idea of what kind of consumers you would have and how you can work with them. etsy is a fantastic first step to being a professional businessman. oh, you can also contact some historical reenactment clubs which could use or buy your crafts, or at least make you shop more known to the public through their events

If you go on Etsy, you can get a free £5 gift card using my referral link: http://etsy.me/1vLSESy

hope I helped :)

sounds good, having a store that you can make and sell your things from so customers can see your products and buy, also selling online for customers afar is good of course. list/sell on several sites like etsy, ebay and yorbin to get your things out there including your own website. start small grow if it takes off

So I'm a 16 year old craftsman/aspiring businessman. I am currently working on my business idea. Which I intend to be a shop, dedicated to historically acurate celtic and norse items. These will include, but are not limited to; hand carved wooden jewelry/decor, hand made leather goods. Hand forged knifes, axes, hammers, jewelry, and various other tools. Items/clothing made of animal pelts. As well as hand processed/spun/woven wool rugs, blankets, clothing, and wool yarn spools. These the main aspects I have in mind.

Currently I do wood carvings, and leather tooling. Although I plan to, sometime next year, attend several blacksmithing and bladesmithing courses. To aid in my education. This may sound like something very time consuming, and it is. But I am unschooled/homeschooled so I have plenty of time to pursue my dream.

I will soon be opening a bank account, and an etsy shop. As well as a go fund me page to aid in my financial needs.

My main question is, do you think I am on the right track? Is there good markets for the work I wish to do? ( I chose to cover several markets, as I would think it's pretty dicey to depend on a single market as a small business) What do ya think?
