There is NO way to wire him the money and he not receive it until you get your purchase, the minute you transfer your cash, it will be picked up.
That is a scammer pretending to sell cheap merchandise.
Any person that advertises merchandise cheaper than the official manufacture's website is a fake site shipping gosh awful crappy knock-offs or simply collecting cash and not even bothering to ship fakes.
The pictures look like the real merchandise because those pictures ARE of the official merchandise. Those pictures were stolen from the official manufacture's website. If you receive anything at all, which is doubtful, it will not resemble those pretty pictures at all.
The payment options say it all, Western Union, only anonymous cash payments.
Western Union and moneygram do not verify anything on the form the sender fills out, not the name, not the street address, not the country, not even the gender of the receiver, it all means absolutely nothing. The clerk will not bother to check ID and will simply hand off your cash to whomever walks in the door with the MTCN# and question/answer. Neither company will tell the sender who picked up the cash, at what store location or even in what country your money walked out the door. Neither company has any kind of refund policy, money sent is money gone forever.
In all seriousness, when something goes wrong, what will you do? Send an email that is ignored and blocked?
You could then be really lucky, your "package" is discovered, seized by "customs" and all you need to do is pay even more money via Western Union or moneygram to the "custom's official" who uses a free email address just like that site has a free email address as its contact information.
Free email addresses are easy to open and close completely anonymously.
That is not possible at all. The minute you send the money, the receiver can take it out 1 minute later. Western Union does not act as an escrow service. The only way you can stop a payment is if you do so before the receiver picks up the money. But you'll pay $35 for this service. But scammers will pick up the money within minutes of receiving the payment
He is full of crap that Paypal will charge him an international fee -- the fees are the same no matter which country you are from. Why should YOU pay a 10% fee to send money through Western Union when he is only paying a 2.9% fee to receive your money? That makes no sense. WU charges a 10% fee, so to send $100 you have to give Western Union $110. If you pay $100 with Paypal, he will get $97.10 ($10 - 2.9% fee). If he doesn't want to pay the fee, then offer to pay him $102.90 instead of $100, which is still cheaper than you spending $110 on Western Union
And every single Western Union office has a customer warning poster telling you to NEVER use Western Union for online purchases. Only a scammer will ever ask for WU
Either use Paypal or forget the sale because you will get screwed with WU
Paypal charges are much lower and a little safer. If fees were a problem you could just cover his paypal fee. It is very little compared to WU fees.
However, in light of this i would suggest no ordering from this seller at all.
Check if ebay has what you want and pick a seller with good feedback and one that accepts paypal.
yes you can stop western union payments. but usually a seller will not send you your item if he does not get his money first. so that is just a risk you have to take.
Ok, so I want to order these shoes from a private seller online. However, he dosen't have paypal because paypal will charge him an international fee (he's from china) so he suggested western union. Is it possible for me to wire him money and he not receive it unitl I get my purchase?
