Traditionally, sculpture is the hardest of the arts to succeed at, which is to say make a living. If you are really talented it might really take off, depending on what you do. If not, then not. How to do it? Make some pieces, have them professionally photographed, start up a website and try to promote it. All of which can be found online and in books.
