I would describe the differences this way: Think of a ladder, where you set up the ladder is how you could think of your objective: where you want to go. And each rung of the ladder could be thought of as a goal, or important levels to achieve in the direction of your ultimate objective.
Here's the definition of both-
Goal -the object of a person's ambition or effort; an aim or desired result
Objective - a thing aimed at or sought; a goal
It looks like they are the same from there, but i'd say that a goal is more long term and and objective shorter term :)
No they're obviously not the same, Objectives has 5 more letters than goals.
Yes they have virtually the same meaning. In my job, that's one section of my yearly evaluation "goals and objectives."
For personal purposes, goals may be something you strive for and objectives aren't really something someone gives themselves.
