Advice on sewing clothing for other people?

Whether you can make such a service profitable is the biggest question, sweat shop made 'off the rack' goods are so much cheaper. You probably would have to specialize in custom tailored high end fashion, like recreating $1000 men's suits.

Here's one tailor with Men's and Women's measurement forms that use about 20 measurements.

And an online Woman's measurement submission form

This would probably work out best for no shrink synthetics, dry clean only, or you will have to learn top oversize for shrinkage.

Thanks, yeah I make costume pieces essentially. Some are more extravagant while other's add flair to everyday clothing. Not just normal graphic tees or dresses.
