Walk into your bank, tell the teller your account number, show ID' walk out with $1000 as long as you have that much in your account
I make all my withdrawals that way
Go to the Bank and ask for a check book or a form to withdraw money from your account. They may hae the facility to provide some withdrawal slip / form
1. Go to your bank.
2. Tell the cashier you'd like to withdraw $1,000 from your checking account.
3. They will have you swipe your debit card through the machine and enter the amount you'd like to withdraw.
4. They will confirm the amount and ask you if you want large bills or small bills.
That's it.
They may ask to see your ID to confirm your identification.
Pretty sure you're not limited to $200 per day in over-the-counter withdrawals, only ATM ones? (Or if you are, then you sure signed up to one crappy account!) So visit your bank in person and take out whatever funds you have in the account.
Go to your bank and fill out a withdrawal slip for $1,000 and then go to the teller, They will ask you in what denominations you want it.
Call your bank and tell them you want a higher ATM limit withdrawal. I have a limit of $1,500 per day.
I am guessing if you show a teller your ID they may be able to give you more than $200 out of your account That ATM limit is supposed to minimize the damage if someone steals your card.
The piece of paper on the table as you go in is called a counter check. Just fill it in and present it.
P S Get some checks. They are not expensive, and come in very handy from time to time.
This is one example of why you should always have checks, even if you don't usually use them. Suppose you lost your debit/ATM card and have to wait 10 days for the replacement - what are you gonna do without checks?
Simple, just go into your bank and tell them how you want the money.
