Well you can always visit your nearest social security office and cough up $138 or so for a list of employers and the years you worked for each employer through 2013 (most of 2014 employers wouldn't be on their records yet). It won't give you the dates of employment (just the years) and if you worked for a large employer it won't show who you worked for locally (for example say you worked for Sears - it would show the address of Sears headquarters). Also there are many companies which do business under different names then the parent company and their records would show the name of the parent company as your employer but you sure won't be getting any type of a list anywhere else. It's up to you to keep a record of your employers.
