Do you think a lot of people will convert?
The US military uses metric because it's better. Also, the imperial standard came from the same place that metric did: Europe.
And I'd rather say that my penis is 17cm. It's a bigger number.
When they get tired of putting a tape measure on a sheet of plywood or any other standard manufactured product and reading 243.84 cm instead of 8 ft.
Or when they get tired of wondering why the standard height for a door is 203 cm.
"Standard"? In most of the world, the metric system is standard.
If you're talking "Imperial" units (feet & inches, etc), America is the only industrialized country still using it. Nobody else bothers, even if they sell to America.
I really don't think so.
