I'm 18 and I have made allot of money out here in the oil field but now it's time for me to go to college and I will be going home with 10,000 which is not much so what would you do in my shoes? Would you blow the money, skip collge and suffer anothwt year or try and invest it somehow? Ideas? BTW life really sucks here in North Dakota so it's very depressing but the pay is very good.

Go to college and learn accounting and financial management.

Ok...ok.. I'd spend like $500 on a vacation and then go to college and study accounting.

Go to school. Then you might know what the word allot means instead of using it to mean a lot. Life sucks and it sucks more if uneducated.

Put it in the bank and go to college.

I would recommend invest in yourself first. Research and learn anything about business, investment and finance.
