Should i be an actor and how?

I live in Lithuania and i am plannning to go to aviation school and be a pilot, but right now i'm thinking it might be a wrong job for me. I have some money saved up but probably just enough to barely get from Lithuania to a big actor city like New York. So i really need help on what should i do.

It's true that you can't get acting work without a work visa, but you can probably come over and study on a student visa. Cities like LA and New York have the best acting classes, and if you are not experienced, you are going to have to train before you have any chance of geting hired anyway.

You cannot go to NY and be an actor without a work visa. And as a novice, there is no way you would get a visa.

Breaking into acting is difficult, people can go to audition "Cattle Calls" for month to get bit parts. I would suggest you make an appearance in some Youtube videos and see if people show any interest in your "look"

Just being a pilot is ambitious enough.

you chances of getting any kind of acting jobs in teh United States are extremely tiny - especially if you don't already have LOTS of experience in local and school plays, etc and NY is a very expensive city to live in - you won;t last a week
