Loans at 17? United Kingdom.?

Posted at: 2015-07-28
I am in need of extra money, so am wanting to apply for a loan, however my date of birth is 14/06/1998, and every site i've been on will only accept 1997. Please can someone tell me what site that's secure and will accept aged 17 and is quick. I have a full time job so i cant fit another around the hours i do, believe me i love working and i have tried to work two jobs evenings and day both full time.

This is not going to happen. You're not a legal adult, you can't agree to legal loans, period. You can borrow from friends and family, or you can think about why you need the money so bad. In the long run, consider further education so you can make more in the limited time you have. Working full time at 17 is a great way to be working the same job at the same pay at 37 and 57.

No chance. Until you're 18 you're legally not an adult; no one will provide a child with a loan.

You can only borrow from family or friends until you are aged 18, and legally an adult. Even then, a lender may be reluctant to lend to you unless you have a steady well-paid job, as your lender will want to ensure he will be paid back. Of course, you could earn money from an employer, or by doing various small jobs (lawn mowing or window cleaning for example) for which you will be paid on the spot, or you could raise funds by selling items you no longer want to keep.

You have to be 18 (in UK law, a loan contract with some-one under 18 is invalid .. i.e. there is no legal way they can make the loan)

You won't be able to get a loan because you are underage. Legally they can't lend to anyone under 18.

You are underage in the UK and no borrower will lend to you as you are a minor.

Why ? because at your age you are too young to sign a contact, so they would not get their money back if you default in re- payments.

You are not a legal adult and therefor cannot sign contracts. You won't find anywhere that lets you do this.
