emotions are such silly things. If you were in America I'd advise that you go to school while living at home until you're 21 or older, kids here either stay living with their parents or come back to live with parents since the economy is still bad. You need to get education while you're still living at home, and before leaving.
You already get help from the government in the form of subsidized education and healthcare. Your rent, utilities and groceries are up to you. You are an able-bodied adult.
You might get Income Support, but living away from family isn't what is cracked up to be. At best, you would get only enough to rent a crappy single room.
