30-40 grand?

Is it possible to make 30-40 grand in 2 years on 11 dollars an hours working full time and part time plus with the help of spouse?

2080 hours per year means you earn about $22,880 per year. If your wife works (helps?) then how much does she earn per year? What are your monthly expenses? What do you do for recreation? What kind of cars do you have (old or new and the monthy payment)? Do you take vacations? Do you have kids or plan on having kids? There are way too many things to take into consideration to give you the answer and you haven't provided us with the figures. If you have to ask us this question then you have no idea about what budgeting is or even have a budget or know math. Start with those and learn so you can figure this yourself.

do the MATH

11 x 40 x 52 x 2= 45760 BEFORE taxes or about $32032 after taxes so yes it can be done

You can save 30,000 in 2 years if you save 289/week or 1250/month

30-40k gross income...I guess so. a man-year is 2000 hours. Net income will probably not hit 40k, though, unless you have a fair amount of OT. such is usually not guaranteed; best to assume you won't get any.

You would earn just about that amount, whether you can save any living at near poverty level is another story. Most people I suspect would not have the discipline to save $10k

you might GROSS that much before taxes in 2 yrs of full time work, but after living expenses, you won;t have a whole lot left

11x40hrs=$440/wk gross. Minus 20% for taxes= $352 take home. $352x50weeks=$17,600/yr. Assumes 2wks vacation. In two years that is $35,200 take home.

make? - maybe. With help of spouse? - probably. Put in the bank? - No. Life is expensive.
