This is the second DIFFERENT store in under two weeks.Where I had to report outdated food. The other time it was a month expired.
I emailed the Publix corporate head quarters about this.I also contacted the assistant store manager at the other store.
Who should i be contacting since this is happening in multiple stores? Different company, different product different store. So no way related.
it happens; a single item that has 'expired' won't really get anyone's attention, it's presumably just human error by the stocker. if you find 3 or more expired things all together...different story. the mgr should act to 'pull' the item, but don't expect anything beyond that.
Who cares? If you have lost confidence in the store, quit shopping there.
This is not a health/safety issue. Non-perishable goods are safe to eat LONG after their "best by" dates. Non-perishable foods do not EXPIRE> And it is up to the customer to verify the "best by" date anyways.
There is no law against selling food that is past the "best by" date with the exception of baby formula.
With over 1000's sku's it happens on all stores from time to time. It is no big deal. Report it to any manager on duty

Just give **** to managers and abuse them. For example "you are an asshole, **** you, ************, you don't know how to manage your ******* store" etc. Trust me it will help you a lot.
