s perfectly frank inc. a scam?

Posted at: 2015-07-28
I recently found this website called Perfectly Frank Inc. and its a mystery shoppers website. but iv seen only one add that says its a scam and the other websites says its not. i have even found stuff about them on the news and stuff saying good reviews.. :/

The problem is there is a real company by that name, but scammers also use their name to run mystery shopping scams

Here is the real company http://www.perfectlyfrankinc.com/ and all of their emails are from @perfectlyfrankinc.com.

But there are also examples of scammers fraudulently using their name

So when you read it's a scam, it's usually people who were conned by scammers using the company name

Remember, real mystery shopping will NEVER send you a check upfront or ask you to send money to another person through Western Union, Moneygram, Paypal, bank transfer, money order, check, Greendot Moneypak, or any other payment method. That's how you know you are dealing with scammers

Real mystery shopping normally pays $10-15 per assignment and with many agencies, for services (haircut, carwash, massage, etc) or meals you often don't get paid - you are just reimbursed up to a certain amount. You spend your own money on the assignment and are reimbursed after you submit your evaluation form and receipts

According to this link [http://www.419baiter.com/_scam_emails/0-... it is. As that is the purpose of the site (scams), I would rate it as RELIABLE.

The vast majority of "secret shopper" jobs are scams, although there are legitimate companies. I worked for one, but one could reasonably expect to earn about $100/month, and that is IF you went out of your way to shop at weird places (like the airport - who goes there to shop?).

One scam is they say you must buy a book to find the Mystery Shopper jobs. Another (also personal experience) is they want you to receive forged money orders, try to cash them, then send the bulk of the money via Western Union back to the main company. I took the Postal Money Orders to my bank. They immediately recognized them as fake, although they looked good to me.

Hope this helps.

Actually......this one looks legit.

The website states that they have been around since 2004 and the website was registered in 2005 so that is a very good sign.

Keep it simple. Do they ask you to pay a membership fee? If yes, don't do it.
