So I'm 21 years old and live with my parents I work and go to college and make enough money to pay my bills. I recently got a somewhat part time job/business offer from one of my highly educated teachers to work with him at a home/online marketing buisness. I really want to do it because my teacher coaches me on buisness and investments and how to save money. But my mom told me not to do it and she thinks it's a bad idea should I listen to her or should I do what I want to do. I just don't wanna lie to her or not listen to here. But I know I will here her fuss about it if I do it.Well it's a job I will get paid for doing online marketing for major retailers it's a company already established. He already have some of his students/ my classmates working with him and they are getting paid pretty good He just suggest that the money they make that they invest into whatever they want or save it. But you can do whatever you want he just tells the students to think smart with the money they earn.
Unless Mom has some firm reasons not to take this job it sounds like she may just might be a bit over protective. You're 21 and it's time you start making your own decisions. Go for it !.
I guess it depends on what type of job you have now. If it is one that you can leave and not regret leaving if it doesn't work out with your teacher I would say go for it.
I would take the job explain to your mother that you think that its the right thing to do, and if she can't support your choice, then that's her problem.... I would not be rude when i sat that but.....
sounds like a great opportunity to get your feeth wet in a great industry. You should go for it
