got a job there and since orientation I knew I would hate it. On orientation this lady just put in a video on a 15 inch TV and we just watched it. We was never spoken to. I applied for electronics but apparently I also have to cover toys (kids make a huge mess), sporting goods, seasonal items, etc. Its HUGE and only 1 person zones. So I have to cover those whole areas while assisting customers while answering phone calls while doing go backs while responding to that damn guest service button. All for $9hr...I had training for only 3 days and my cashier training I was given a book to read. Really?! this is how target trains their employees? Hardlines and Softlines has 2-3 people working at a time while the electronic department has 4 team members total 1 working at a time. On my second week they had me closing every day. I should be getting paid $15/hr for all the crap I have to do by myself.

Retail jobs are the 'bottom of the barrel' .. I suggest you go back to school and get some qualifications ... then you can start looking for a better job ..

That means that TARGET can see who you are, too! And since you are still on your "probation period", you don't really need to worry about "how much Target sucks" because you won't be staying long!
