What are decent jobs that don't need college?

I'm ready to get out of school once I graduate and get into the real world. What are jobs that will make it in life that don't need college?

no college, what about a trade or an occupational school like plumber, electrician, bricklayer etc? those professions earn upwards of $30+ an hour.

no college, no trade? expect $7.25 to $10 an hour easy, hard to find: $15/hour

You need some training or go into military. Try the trades, they are hands on, short term and marketable. It takes under 18 months to become a certified electrician and you can earn $50,000 a year no lie. You can get your CDL, a beginer dump truck driver earns $18 an hour plus overtime. You can go into Job Corps, and learn all kinds of trades and they pay for housing, medical and food.

when people say they didn't go to college it means they went to vocational or trade school because you need a specialty, some training for a job. Of course people start out at places like fast food restaurants, sometimes retail (clothing), sometimes coffee shops, ice cream shops, garbageman, a go-fer on a construction site, or walk dogs (but you'd need a state license these days even to open a lemonade stand), or guys might work as a laborer at a tire shop or washing cars while they go to school.

depends on what you want to do but there are apprenticeships after schooling. as others mentioned there's plumbing, electrical, hvac, bricklaying, carpentry, soldering, cars/truck maintenance, beautician, paralegal, legal document server, tow truck driver, furniture mover or apartment mover, fracking (probably need a cdl license), limo driver, babysitter/nanny, house cleaner, pool cleaner, rug cleaner, painter, etc. etc.

Bill Gates and Steve Jobs didn't graduate from college before becoming super rich.

Amen to Jason's answer. People who learn a trade are in short supply in some fields.

military- remember, you don't have to go into a deployable position so you could still work in an office, without going to war.

Well if you like travelling there are plenty!

Like maybe a Yatch worker for instance

get a trade

plumbing, electrical

a halfway intelligent person with a good work ethic can do very well

Fast food places, small shops or pharmacies

bricklayer, carpenter, electrician, plumber, janitor, garbage man, truck driver, etc. etc. etc.
