Working over there stresses me out emotionally. I'm an introverted person and interacting with people makes me anxious especially when they're being difficult. There are other things on my mind too but I don't want to rant. Overall I'm not happy working there.
My reason for quitting would be that I want to focus on studying the NCLEX with my wife. My wife and I, both, applied for the nursing licensure examination. We also have a 1 year old son, which can be a handful. So while one studies, the other can be watching over him.
I feel bad for wanting to quit, because I feel like I'm going to let everyone down and maybe this might have a huge impact on me in the future finding a job.
My question is: Should I quit now and stay for 2 weeks or wait until I get the letter that says I'm eligible to take the exam as a definitive proof for quitting, or wait until my third month?
If you have finished your nursing degree but have not yet taken/pased the NCLEX have you thought of working as a GN? It stands for Graduate Nurse and many medicl centers/hospitals will hire them until the take the NCLEX.
On a side note if you stress out interacting with gas station customers I'd hate to see your reaction the first time you have a patients family go off you
You can quit for any reason but having the letter would look better. Having a better for you job would be more better. If you don't like being around people what is being a nurse going to be like?
Just wait if you are working there in the first is bc you probably need the income. Can you survive with just your wife's income comfortably if so put your 2 weeks in once the letter comes if not just deal with it. You have a son that you need to provide for
Never quit a job before you have a replacement waiting for you. So you should start applying to other places if you get hired drop a 2 week notice.
no, because it's your first job,,when you get better job than u quit the job
